Billy Elliot :

Billy Elliot is a worldwide famous musical. This one was played for the first time in West End on 31 March 2005. The show was put on stage by Liam Mower after the creation of the film "Billy Elliot" by Stephen Daldry on 2000 . The scenario has been inspirated by an artwork of Archibald Joseph Cronin, "The strars look down". This musical was adapted in Sidney in Australia, in the Sydney's Capitol Theatre and in Brodway in New York.

 

Context :

 Billy Elliot is an eleven year old boy who lives in a small mining town in County Durham. He lives with his father Jackie, his  older brother Tony and his maternal grandmother. HIs mother is dead. Billy has a particulary affection for the ballet during the period of minor revolts.
